Our story
Higher Ground Church of God in Christ was established in 2001 and founded by James E. Alberts II. Today, the church is located at 402 8th Ave S in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Our Direction / Mission
Dear Higher Ground family and friends,
Higher Ground Church of God in Christ is more than a name; it is a direction. Our prayer is that every person who comes through these doors can move to a higher place in their spiritual and personal life. We are committed to the message of Jesus Christ, to learning together, and to serving our members and our community with care.
This work asks for commitment in the ordinary days, consistency in prayer and worship, and courage to live what we believe. As we evangelize, educate, and empower, we want our church family to live better, do better, and expect better of ourselves, our community, and our world.
